The activity carried out by BOLINA falls within the project of the new metro network in Qatar. The project envisages the strengthening of the infrastructural reste through the construction of new underground lines built for most of their elevated development.
Along the development of the line, most of the viaducts are built with post-compressed prefabricated segment technology.
The single spans for the viaducts vary from 28m to 52m with a maximum length of the C1 continuous span viaducts of 168m.
BOLINA has been engaged in modeling and FEM analysis, for the purposes of designing and verifying the individual launch phases, proposing design solutions in order to satisfy the checks during the construction phase.
