Expansion of the hydroelectric power plant “La Coche Pelton” (France)

This is an upgrade of the existing hydroelectric power plant, consisting of new steel-framed buildings for workshops, offices, and production plant, using construction techniques and materials that are perfectly integrated with the surrounding environment.

The work carried out dealt with the optimization of the main steelwork, going to reduce welding and increasing bolted connections of the cut-and-drill type.

In addition, all the calculation and design work of the secondary metal structure supporting the external cladding was carried out, through local modeling in Straus7 and the study and verification of the connections to the main structure.
