Redevelopment of Riviera XX Settembre, via Verdi and via Rosa (Italy)

The works included two lines of intervention; East-West between Riviera XX Settembre and Via Verdi, up to Via Circonvallazione and North-South between Via Rosa and P.Le Donatori di Sangue.

A stretch of the Marzenego river was opened, carrying out reinforcement works with the insertion of micropiles and lining the bank walls using panels with a finish in pigmented concrete blocks.

The coast was repaved with the laying of zovonite trachyte slabs and courses in Selina Istrian stone, while the adjacent areas, where vehicles are expected to transit, were paved with porphyry.

Finally, the green areas were arranged and the new public lighting along the coast was prepared with the laying of underground services.

In the North-South route, Via Rosa was repaved with porphyry, providing for a new cycle path. For the redevelopment of P. Le Donatori di Sangue and the area in front of Villa Erizzo, the repaving in porphyry and the arrangement of the greenery was carried out. Areas of porphyry slabs were also created, defining “plateatic” spaces and the route of the cycle path that connects via Rosa with via Querini was completed.
