Banking Group Branches (Italy)

The activity involved the rapid verification of seismic vulnerability of 102 properties of the “Crédit Agricole Italia Banking Group” located in the national territory. The numerical calculations were carried out using the B-FAST calculation code developed by BOLINA Ingegneria Srl.

The buildings analyzed were the subject of a standardized operating procedure aimed at defining a comparative ranking useful for planning future activities to reduce the seismic risk of the buildings.

The expeditious approach used is based on a simplified methodology that combines quantitative and qualitative aspects. This methodology is based on a mechanical approach whose solidity has been tested through comparisons with traditional second level analyzes, on a significant sample of existing buildings in the various building types. The analyzed sample is characterized by heterogeneous buildings both in terms of construction type (masonry, reinforced concrete, steel or mixed) and of construction period and geographical location.

The main objective is the definition of a vulnerability ranking based on expeditious comparative assessments, in order to identify the buildings that need first of all detailed analysis and / or prompt intervention.
